It’s a wrap! Just A Little Warmer was such a success! Over the two days, we collected 5 giant construction bags filled with winter accessories and clothing for the homeless men, women, and children of SAMMON Build and The Bowery Mission.
SAMMON Build’s director Crystal Standish stopped by the museum to check out the drive. She told me all about how she got started in the non-profit organization. Simply, the love for her own child as a mother inspired her mission to save and protect other mothers and their children. We had quite the lovely conversation. She’s so inspiring; I got so wrapped up in the conversation, I forgot to take a photo with her! Working on my social media game. Bear with me!
I am so thankful for all of the love and support the #JustALittleWarmer movement has received. For four years, I’ve had this idea in my head and for it to come to life is just spectacular. My heart is full of gratitude! Thank you to my family, friends, the donors, the shelters, sponsors, and The Bronx Museum for helping me achieve this long awaited goal.
Until next year!
Both non-profit organizations would greatly appreciate any charitable donation. Please learn more about them here:
